Privacy Policy

Short version: the text you convert or type, and the Word files you open, never leave your browser. We use analytics to count visits, and may show ads later. This page explains both.

Your text and files

The converters, the typing tool and the Word file converter run as JavaScript in your browser. Text you paste or type and files you choose are processed on your device. They are not uploaded to our server, not stored by us, and not passed to analytics or advertising tools. Our server only sends you the pages.

Two things are stored in your own browser, and only there: your choice of conversion options, so they are remembered next time, and an optional draft on the Urdu typing page, which you can delete with "Clear draft". Text you carry from one converter page to the other is held in your browser's session storage until you close the tab.

Analytics

We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. They tell us which pages are visited, from which countries and devices, and which buttons are used (for example "copy" or "download"), so we can see what to improve. Events we send contain no text, file names or file contents; only counts and categories such as "10k+ characters".

Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used (clicks and scrolling) to show us layout problems. It is set to mask all page text, and the text boxes, typing area and file names are additionally marked as masked, so your Urdu text is never captured.

Google Analytics and Clarity set cookies. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and these tools stay off until you agree.

Advertising

We may show Google AdSense ads to cover running costs. If we do, Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ad Settings. This policy will be updated before ads are switched on.

Hosting and security

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block attacks. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser) for security, and deletes them on its normal schedule.

If you email us, we use your email only to reply. To report a wrong conversion, please send only the word or sentence involved, not a whole document.

Changes

We update this page whenever we add or remove a tool that processes visitor data. The date at the bottom of the page shows the last change.
